Skin temperature is regulated in part by your autonomic nervous system, the same system involved in heart rate, digestion, and the stress response. The Tytron C-5000+ glides along your spine and compares temperature on both sides. Asymmetries may reflect changes in autonomic activity, which we use alongside your other findings and track over time.
